Since I hear that song, I realized that in every word reflect every day of my life, because I did it, my way. Always.
Some persons tryied to change my life but, I did it my way..
Some women tryied to change my character or tread on myself, but I did it my way.
Then, when I die, I would like that my relatives will sing over my grave that song ” I did it my way “. I know that I could not hear it, anyway, please, sing it for me……..

Sorry seems to be the hardest word

What have I got to do to make you love me?
What have I got to do to make you mine?
What do I do when lightning strikes me?
And I wake to find that you’re not there

What do I do when lightning strikes me?
What have I got to do to make you care?
What do I say when it’s all over
And sorry seems to be the hardest word

It’s sad, so sad
It’s a sad, sad situation
And it’s getting more and more absurd
It’s sad, so sad
Why can’t we talk it over?
Sorry seems to me
Sorry seems to be the hardest word

Sorry seems to be the hardest word…

After being working in hotel business for many years, I lost a lot of my English skills due the fail of practics.
Anyway, it´s not the same English of people working in hotel business than in others thecnical jobs like engineers. Our vocabulary use to be rather short and limited.
But I agree with you that we must improve ours English skills, then thanks a lot for that initiative.

I took several years without having again spoken English, and 4 years ago when I retire partially, I resumed classes of English, as of today I’m in 4th, at least when I go outside Spain, I can order a steak with potatoes and they understand me.

Then the phrase correctly written is: Sorry, where is the famous tree?.

Thanks Gesell.

Sí, Gesell, a eso vengo, a soltarme un poco. Mi ilusión de siempre ha sido poder dominar al inglés, pero viendo que no es posible (ni al inglés ni a la inglesa), al menos que no se me olvide del todo. Me vendrá bien cuando algún turista se me acerque por el pueblo y me pregunte: Sorry, ¿where is the famous tree?.
